Wading versus boat fishing is a preference guests are asked to raise with the lodge manager, which gives the day’s method a practical place in the operating conversation before the guide sets the plan. Loaner fishing equipment covers rods, reels and lines, keeping the core tackle requirement inside the lodge program for anglers who do not bring their own setup.
7 Nights / 6 Days Fishing is listed in the Fall Season 2026 program, and 3 Nights / 2 Days Fishing gives the lodge a shorter named fishing format. Season 2027 continues the fishing calendar into the following year, with the same core pursuit organized around guided days rather than separate activity categories.
East side of South Andros Island
Bair’s Lodge sits on the east side of South Andros Island, Bahamas, placing the base within a South Andros fishing landscape rather than a mixed-island touring circuit. The venue category is fishing, so the setting is best understood through the water and flats work it places close to the lodge.
South Andros supplies the regional frame for the program, while the east-side location gives the lodge its operating identity as a base for bonefish-focused days. Comfort belongs to the stay, but the practical reason to be here is the concentration of guided fishing decisions around one island base.
Congo Town Airport transfer
Transportation between Bair’s Lodge and Congo Town Airport is included, making Congo Town the named arrival point for the final approach to the lodge. The airport-to-lodge movement is part of the package rather than a separate local arrangement, which keeps the last transfer tied to the fishing itinerary.
Two priced fishing seasons
Fall Season 2026 runs from October to December 2026, with five fishing itineraries priced across the block: 7 Nights / 6 Days Fishing at $7,850, 6 Nights / 5 Days Fishing at $7,250, 5 Nights / 4 Days Fishing at $6,750, 4 Nights / 3 Days Fishing at $5,650, and 3 Nights / 2 Days Fishing at $4,250.
Season 2027 runs from January to June 2027, and the same five itinerary lengths rise to $8,350, $7,750, $6,950, $5,950, and $4,650. Weather conditions still govern where each guided day goes, so the season calendar sets availability and pricing while the day-by-day fishing plan remains responsive on the water.
Package terms, supplements and exclusions
7 Nights / 6 Days Fishing is priced from USD 7,850 per person, while 3 Nights / 2 Days Fishing is priced from $4,250 in the listed offer set. The later season prices for the same bookend itineraries are $8,350 and $4,650, giving the two calendar blocks a clear price step.
The package includes lodging, meals, open bar, guided fishing, a fishing license, transportation between Bair’s Lodge and Congo Town Airport, and loaner rods, reels and lines. Transportation to South Andros, flies, gratuities and government taxes are excluded, and government tax is 10%.
Arrival and departure fishing can be added by boat, with full-day fishing at $950 per boat for one or two anglers plus government taxes, and half-day fishing at $850 per boat for one or two anglers plus government taxes. Non-anglers are priced at $650 per night per person plus government taxes, and a single room and boat carries a 75% surcharge subject to availability.
